Lila has always had an interest in Middle Eastern Art starting from a young age. Her first official belly dance instruction was with internationally known Oriental Dance teacher Sakti Rinek in Taos, NM. Lila then moved to Albuquerque to attend school and was introduced to Tribal Style Bellydance with local instructor Arianne Monti of Troupe Apsara whom she studied with for 2 yrs. Lila was performing Tribal Belly Dance with Troupe Apsara soon after learning ATS dynamics. She is currently a core member of the Rogue Bindis and enjoys performing around Albuquerque and the 505.
